ORGANISATION AND ADMINISTRATION

Article 1: Membership

1) There shall be three (3) categories of members in the Party, namely:-
a) Individual Members
b) Affiliated Members
c) Honorary Members
2) Individual Members shall be persons of not less than sixteen (16) years of age who subscribe to the
conditions of membership, and are Turks and Caicos Islanders. Such members may be Life Members, or
ordinary members.
3) Affiliated Members may consist of Societies and associations (professional or otherwise) or groups which
in the opinion of the Party’s National General Council have interest consistent with the party, and are
organized for civic, business or social purposes.

Article 2: Conditions of Membership

1) Individual Members of the Party must:-
a) conform to the rule in article 3 subsection 2 of this constitution.
b) accept and conform to the Constitution, Platform, Programme, Objects and
Policies of the Party;
c) sign the Party Pledge (See Schedule III for Party Pledge); and
d) be a member of a branch of the Party (See Schedule IV for Membership Form).
2) Each Affiliated Member of the Party must: –
a) accept the Platform, Programme, Principles, Objects and Policies of the Party;
b) agree to conform to the Constitution and Standing Orders of the Party;
c) submit its by-laws to the Party’s National General Council.
3) Each Affiliated Member may send no more than one delegate to the National Convention without prior
approval given in writing by the National General Council.
