Aims and Objectives:
The primary aims and objectives of the Young Democrats are as follows:
a) To create an association that accurately reflects the political, educational, social, and economic aspirations of the youth in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
b) To seek affiliations with other organizations aligned with the political, educational, social, and economic objectives of the Young Democrats.
c) To promote and encourage the advancement of all Turks Islanders within an environment of equal opportunity.
d) To cultivate future leaders of the PDM and, by extension, the Turks and Caicos Islands.
e) To enhance our efforts in promoting education, unity, and social responsibility by mentoring the youth throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands.
f) To uphold the principles of good governance by holding the elected government accountable to high standards of integrity, honesty, and transparency, ensuring that their governance promotes the economic and educational advancement of the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Affiliation:
The Young Democrats are proudly affiliated with the People’s Democratic Movement (PDM) political party and the Caribbean Young Democrat Union (CYDU) as our regional partner. We are open to forming alliances with other progressive youth organizations that share our values.

Executive Committee:
The YD Executive Committee is entrusted with overseeing the operations of the Young Democrats between Branch meetings. The current leadership includes:

Meetings and Membership:
The PDM YD convenes once a month, with additional meetings scheduled as necessary. We extend an open invitation to all Turks and Caicos Islanders between the ages of 16-40 to join us in our mission to shape the future of our nation.
